1. The seller

orikind.com is published by the seller identified below ("we"). These details also appear in the legal notice. Any order placed on the site implies acceptance of these terms.

2. Products

We sell three kinds of products: pre-cut paper kits (physical goods, shipped with their double-sided tape), printable PDF patterns (digital content) and custom kits made from a photo supplied by the customer (personalised goods).

Photos and 3D renders are as faithful as possible; paper shades may vary slightly between batches.

3. Prices

Prices are in euros, all taxes included, excluding delivery. Delivery costs are shown before you confirm the order, according to the country and method chosen. The applicable price is the one displayed when you order.

When a price reduction is announced, the struck-through reference price is the lowest price applied during the 30 days before the reduction (article L112-1-1 of the French Consumer Code).

4. Order and payment

The order is final once payment is accepted. Payment is by card through Stripe; we never see or keep your card details. A confirmation email summarising the order is sent to you.

For custom kits, the order is final once you approve the 3D preview and pay. Nothing is charged before that approval.

5. Delivery

Kits ship from France within 2 working days (5 working days for custom kits) to the address given. Delivery times shown at checkout are the carrier's estimates.

If a parcel arrives damaged, tell us within 3 days with photos: we send the missing sheets or a full kit.

PDF patterns are available immediately after payment on the confirmation page, in the confirmation email and in your account.

6. Right of withdrawal: kits

You have 14 days from receiving a kit to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason (articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code). Tell us by email or with the form below, then send the kit back within 14 days. Return costs are borne by you.

We refund the kit and standard delivery no later than 14 days after being informed of your decision; we may withhold the refund until we receive the kit. You may be liable for any depreciation of the kit resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning (article L221-23), for instance pieces detached and assembled.

7. PDF patterns: immediate access and waiver of the right of withdrawal

A PDF pattern is digital content supplied without a physical medium. At checkout, a dedicated box, unticked by default, lets you expressly request immediate access to the file and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (article L221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code). Without this consent, an order containing a PDF cannot be placed.

This consent and waiver are confirmed in the order confirmation email. A defective or non-conforming file is fixed or refunded (legal conformity guarantee for digital content).

8. Custom kits and personalised items

Custom kits are made to your specifications and clearly personalised: the right of withdrawal does not apply (article L221-28 3° of the French Consumer Code). You can ask for an adjustment of the 3D preview before approving it.

Personalised items (name card, birthday kit, favour boxes…) are printed with the details you type on the product page (names, age, date, shade), whose preview shows the result before you order. They are made to your specifications and the right of withdrawal does not apply (article L221-28 3° of the French Consumer Code); at checkout, a dedicated box, unticked by default, asks you to acknowledge it. The files are generated as soon as you pay: check the spelling before paying. A printing or cutting defect on our side remains covered by the legal conformity guarantee.

9. Legal warranties

All our products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity: 2 years from delivery for kits (articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and, for PDF patterns, for the planned supply period (articles L224-25-12 et seq.). In case of non-conformity you can have the goods brought into conformity (repair or replacement) or, failing that, obtain a price reduction or cancel the contract. Defects appearing within that period are presumed to have existed at delivery.

You also benefit from the warranty against hidden defects (articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code), to be claimed within 2 years of discovering the defect. These warranties apply regardless of any commercial guarantee.

10. Success guarantee (goodwill gesture)

A piece damaged or spoilt while building? Write to us with a photo and your order number: we send you the replacement sheet free of charge, within the limit of one sheet per piece, for kits bought on orikind.com. This goodwill gesture comes on top of the legal warranties and does not replace them.

11. Intellectual property and use

Models, patterns, guides and renders are protected. They are for personal use: you may build and give the animals, but not resell kits, share the files or sell built models without written consent.

12. Personal data

The processing of your data is described in our privacy policy.

13. Disputes and mediation

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, first send a written complaint to our customer service. If no amicable solution is found, you may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator below (articles L612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code), within one year of your written complaint.

14. Monthly box subscription

Purpose. The monthly box is a subscription under which the seller identified in article 1 sends you, every month, a pre-cut paper kit whose model stays a surprise (only its category, flower, animal or seasonal model, may be announced) or, for the PDF box, the month's model as a PDF pattern. The other articles of these terms apply to the subscription unless this article provides otherwise.

Plans and prices. We offer the monthly box with no commitment, 3- and 6-month prepaid boxes, the monthly PDF box and 3- and 6-month gift boxes. Their prices are shown in euros, all taxes included, on the box page and in the summary shown before payment; the price that applies is the one shown when you subscribe. Where the seller is under the VAT franchise scheme, its invoices carry the statement "TVA non applicable, article 293 B du CGI" (VAT not applicable). Any change to the price of the monthly box or the PDF box is notified to you by e-mail at least 30 days before it applies; you may cancel at no cost before that date.

Delivery. Kit boxes are delivered to mainland France only. A shipping fee is added to the price of each box shipped; its amount is shown on each plan and in the summary before payment. The PDF box has no shipping fee.

Duration. The monthly box and the PDF box are concluded for an indefinite period and can be cancelled at any time. The 3- and 6-month prepaid boxes and the gift boxes are concluded for a fixed period equal to the number of boxes paid for: they end by themselves after the last box, with no tacit renewal and no further charge.

Payment. Payment is by card through Stripe. The monthly box and the PDF box are paid when you subscribe, then charged every month on the anniversary date of the subscription. Prepaid and gift boxes are paid once, when you subscribe. If a payment fails, we let you know by e-mail and retry; you can update your card from your account. Without a successful payment after these retries, the subscription is cancelled automatically, at no cost, and no box is shipped for the unpaid period.

Cut-off and shipping. A given month's box ships in the first days of that month. Its cut-off is the 20th of the month before at 23:59 (Paris time): a subscription recorded after that date starts with the following month's box. Transit times are the carrier's (article 5).

Skipping a box and pausing. From your account you can skip the next box not paid yet (it is then neither charged nor shipped) or pause the subscription for 1 to 3 months. On a prepaid or gift box, the boxes concerned are moved to the end of the term. These requests, like address changes, apply to boxes whose cut-off has not passed.

Cancellation. In accordance with article L215-1-1 of the French Consumer Code, you can cancel the subscription at any time from your account, in "My box", with the "Cancel my subscription" function, also reachable from the box page. No reason and no fee are asked of you, and you can also write to the e-mail address given in article 1. Cancellation takes effect immediately: no further charge is made. We confirm the cancellation and its effective date by e-mail, on a durable medium. Monthly boxes already paid for are still shipped. On a prepaid or gift box, unshipped boxes whose cut-off has not passed are refunded pro rata to the payment method used, within 14 days of the cancellation.

Right of withdrawal (kit boxes). You have 14 days from receiving the first box to withdraw, without giving any reason (article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code), as set out in article 6, for example with the form in the appendix. The cost of returning the boxes received is borne by you. We refund the amounts paid, including standard shipping, within 14 days of being told of your decision; we may withhold the refund until we receive the returned boxes. Withdrawal ends the subscription.

PDF box: waiver of the right of withdrawal. The PDF box supplies digital content without a physical medium. When you subscribe, a dedicated box, unticked by default, lets you expressly ask for immediate access to the patterns and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (article L221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code); without this consent, the PDF box cannot be subscribed to. This consent is recorded with the date of your subscription. You remain free to cancel at any time.

Gift box. The gift box is paid for by the buyer and delivered every month to the recipient's address the buyer gives; no price is shown in the parcel. It never renews. A gift code, e-mailed to the buyer and, if their address is given, to the recipient, lets the recipient link the box to their account to change the address or move a box. The right of withdrawal belongs to the buyer and runs from the recipient's receipt of the first box.

Warranties, disputes and mediation. The legal warranties of article 9 apply to each box. In case of dispute, article 13 applies: after a written complaint to our customer service, you can refer the matter free of charge to the following consumer mediator:
